Complimentary Destination Shuttle between IKEA and Campus Martius Park, Detroit.
IKEA and Campus Martius Park are pleased to be bringing the region together in an exciting, fresh way thanks to a new FREE destination shuttle between Campus Martius Park in Detroit and IKEA, located in Canton.
Starting March 12, and then for four consecutive days each month during special IKEA or Detroit event weekends, two 40-seat buses will make the round-trip between the park and the store every hour from 9 AM to 10 PM. The buses will pick up and drop passengers off at the Hard Rock Café adjacent to the park, 45 Monroe St., and also at IKEA, located at 41640 Ford Rd., Canton.
Shuttle Schedule
The Destination Shuttle will run hourly from 9 AM to 10 PM on scheduledThursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 9 AM to 8 PM on Sundays.

Destination Shuttle Bus Program
Passenger Guidelines:
We are pleased to bring you this complimentary shuttle between two of Metro Detroit’s top destinations. In order to make the program a great success and to ensure that each passenger has the wonderful experience intended, please respect and honor the following Passenger Guidelines:
- The Destination Shuttle bus is free of charge. A gift from IKEA and Campus Martius Park.
- The Destination Shuttle is a limited program. Each Destination Shuttle seats a maximum of 40 passengers at a time. If a seat is not available, you must wait for the next Destination Shuttle. There will be no standing on the bus. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- Boarding of the Destination Shuttle is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please wait in line patiently and in an orderly fashion to ensure timely boarding and a great experience for everyone.
- If you plan on taking the last scheduled Destination Shuttle of the day in either direction, you must receive a ticket from the Destination Shuttle Bus Driver. Once 40 tickets have been distributed, there will not be any seats available the rest of the day since this is the last Destination Shuttle. We encourage you to not wait until the last bus of the day to ensure that you have a seat on the Destination Shuttle back to your starting location.
- Please only bring items that can be easily carried on the bus by one person. Items purchased at IKEA that are larger than this size can be shipped from IKEA. Shipping fees apply.
- Please refrain from smoking on the Destination Shuttle. We apologize but it is strictly prohibited.
- Please do not bring any glass containers on the bus. We apologize but it is strictly prohibited. Food and beverages are allowed, but we ask that you please remove all trash to keep the Destination Shuttle in great shape for all of our special guests.
- Please do not bring any pets on the Destination Shuttle. We apologize but they are strictly prohibited.
- Please respect others and do not play music that can be heard by anyone else in any way on the Destination Shuttle.
- In the event of inclement weather, please wait for the next Destination Shuttle inside IKEA or inside the Hard Rock Café at Campus Martius Park.
- Destination Shuttle pick-up and drop-off times are subject to change without notice.
- IKEA, Campus Martius Park, the Detroit 300 Conservancy, or People’s Transit are not responsible for any lost or stolen items on the Destination Shuttle or in parked cars at a Destination Shuttle site. Please secure and keep a close eye as well as a hand on all carry-on items and personal belongings.
